with prestigious antique
dealers and auction
houses, and through
inheritance from his
sister Anne Whiting, his
life partner Wesley
Griswold, and his
parents Brooke and Ruth
Whiting.
His collection includes
primarily Asian Works of
Art and American,
British, and European
Decorative Arts. Brooke
had eclectic taste and
collected artwork from
around the globe. His
collection has pieces
from America, Great
Britain, the
Netherlands, France,
Spain, Portugal, Italy,
Greece, Egypt, Lebanon,
Iran, India, China,
Thailand, Vietnam,
Korea, Japan, Russia,
